SoFi needed better screening and risk-indicator review. Risk checks had to fit high-volume operations without slowing daily decisions.
Analysts reviewed risk indicators in different ways, so results varied from one analyst to the next.
Better review couldn’t come at the cost of heavy process. The work also had to fit SoFi’s existing operational and technical constraints.
What we built
We adapted name-matching and workflow patterns from our earlier screening work for fintech, and fitted the review steps to how SoFi’s teams already work.
We refined the matching that teams use to judge potential risk indicators.
The checks run inside existing daily work, without a separate heavyweight process.
The result
Analysts now review risk indicators more consistently, with no extra manual steps.
Core workflows run with fewer avoidable interruptions, and the indicators are easier to apply to day-to-day decisions.
